While the internet is trying to figure out who "Becky with the good hair is" we seem to be missing the point of this album and the conversation it's starting.
Infidelity is a violation that changes our lives in every way possible. The way we view relationships, people we chose to love, our ability to trust others, it teaches us how quickly we can build a fortress around our hearts but mostly it changes how we love ourselves.
I think that for anyone who has ever been cheated on "lemonade" has just opened up a conversation that we all shy away from for fear of shame and vulnerability.
This album so beautifully heartbreakingly offers up a souls most vulnerable journey to healing, all of it the ugly broken bits, along with the triumph. And it also shows you the honor in humility and seeking forgiveness.
We all make mistakes, own them so you can heal. And forgiveness sets your soul free. Visually it's probably the most insane thing I've seen in awhile 🍋🐝👌🏾
Ps. Just don't be a Becky with the good hair.
